Home Offices and AI are the Future

There is no doubt that artificial intelligence will create more jobs in the future, especially in the home office sector. New jobs are already emerging that did not exist a few years ago, and not only in the high-level sector—for example, prompt engineers and AI trainers. Working from home also provides an efficient basis for cooperation with internationally active companies. Forecasts show that by 2030, around 40% of all office and freelance work will increasingly be done remotely – supported by the use of artificial intelligence.

Home office & AI:  The new world of work
Remote - smart - connected: Working in the digital age
 Seven Theses of Knowledge
AI is changing not only WHAT we do, but also WHERE and HOW we do it. Working from home will make work smarter, more flexible, and more global. The question is no longer “Will AI replace my job?” but “How can I use AI to become better?”

1. AI as a Virtual Colleague
Chatbots, automation tools, and AI assistants take over routine tasks. You can focus on creative and strategic work. Preparing meetings, writing emails, writing program code: this is where AI makes you more productive, not redundant.

2. New Jobs are being created that did not exist a few Years ago
Prompt engineers, AI trainers, and automation specialists are just a few examples. The AI revolution is creating more jobs in the home office sector than it is destroying.

3. Global Talent Pool meets local Opportunities
Even your native language can become a competitive advantage. Companies worldwide are also looking for German-speaking remote employees for AI projects, for example for data quality checking and content moderation.

4. AI makes Job Applications more efficient (for Job Providers and Job Seekers)
Tools scan job ads and draft personalized cover letters in seconds. But beware: HR departments use the same technology. Authenticity and specific skills count more than ever.

5. Freelancing with Momentum
AI has significantly increased productivity. Designing with DALL-E, programming with GitHub Copilot, and writing with ChatGPT—everything can be done faster or is made possible by AI as a side effect—in extreme cases: everything from a single source.

6. The Burnout Factor: Slowing down by Speeding up
AI saves time, but at the same time, the home office blurs the line between work and private life. It is important to recognize and maintain a balance: use AI for efficiency, but also consciously switch it off.

7. 2026 is just the Beginning
The forecast is that by 2030, 40% of all jobs will be partially remote and AI-supported. Those who get started now and learn will help shape the future—not as spectators, but as protagonists.

Working from Home:  Also for the Trades of the Future?
Craftsmanship between workbench and home office
Seven Points on the Future of Skilled Trades
The skilled trades will also undergo a major transformation toward a new working world in the coming years. The scenario in which humanoid robots will increasingly take over physical work is very likely. Even now, skilled trades services are increasingly being provided digitally and remotely. This has long been the case in the field of logistics.

1. Remote control of robots
Craftsmen can operate and monitor robots and machines via remote interfaces.

2. AI-supported diagnosis
Many manual tasks begin with analysis and fault diagnosis. AI systems can take care of this preliminary work. Craft businesses operating in home office mode receive the desired data.

3. Automated manufacturing systems
Robotic workshops can receive orders remotely and execute them automatically. This is particularly interesting for individual parts or small series. Logistics robots can then deliver the manufactured parts.

4. Virtual planning & simulation
Craftsmen can digitally plan and simulate construction or repair projects. The robots on site take care of the implementation.

5. Remote monitoring of construction sites
Sensors and cameras make it possible to monitor work progress or changes on the construction site remotely. Robots can take on a corresponding role here.

6. 3D printing & robotics
Many handcrafted products can be manufactured using 3D printing. Craftsmen can control the printing processes from home. In particular, 3D printing can also be used to produce handcrafted, futuristic-looking design objects, such as original furniture.

7. Hybrid roles
Craftsmen are increasingly becoming technology operators: they combine their expertise with digital control. Physical labor is being partially replaced by robots, while expertise is being created from home offices.

Crafts and Working from Home - is that possible?
The skilled trades have great potential. It is therefore only a matter of time before the first skilled humanoid robots appear. The first robot teams in the skilled trades will certainly be found in the ancillary construction industry. Robots that lay floors and cables, paint walls, doors, and windows. Always stay up to date with the latest technology and keep an eye on everything with millimeter precision. These new employees can then be scheduled and controlled from the office or from home.
